Complete payment-card information is processed by Shopify and its payment providers. Maison A does not directly store complete payment-card numbers.

Shopify

Our online store is hosted by Shopify.  Shopify processes information when you visit our website, create an account, or complete a purchase.  Depending on the Shopify services active on our store, Shopify may also process information for ecommerce services, analytics, personalization, advertising, and fraud prevention.

Material Retail

Maison A uses Material Retail, operated by Shoptiques LLC, to manage customer communications, email and SMS marketing, and our loyalty program.

We may provide Material Retail with information such as your name, email address, telephone number, purchase history, loyalty activity, communication preferences, consent records, and interactions with Maison A communications.  Material Retail processes this information to help us operate these services.

Loyalty Program

Maison A’s loyalty program is voluntary.  Customers may enroll by providing their name, email address or telephone number.

Members earn points on qualifying purchases at the rate displayed when they enroll and in their loyalty account.  Points may be redeemed for eligible rewards under the terms presented through the program.  Earning rates, reward values, redemption requirements, exclusions, and expiration periods are disclosed through the loyalty program.

We use member contact information, purchase history, and loyalty activity to manage accounts, award and redeem points, provide program updates, personalize offers, and evaluate the program.

The program may be considered a financial incentive under California law because members provide personal information and purchasing activity in exchange for the opportunity to earn rewards.  Maison A estimates that the value of this information is reasonably related to the value of the points, rewards, and discounts made available to members.  This estimate considers the value of rewards provided, member purchasing activity, and the cost of administering the program.

Participation is not required to make a purchase.  You may cancel your membership at any time by emailing info@maisona.net with the subject line “Loyalty Program Cancellation.” Cancellation may result in the loss of unredeemed points or rewards.

Maison A may modify, suspend, or discontinue the loyalty program, including its earning rates, reward values, redemption requirements, exclusions, and expiration terms.  When reasonably possible, we will provide advance notice of material changes through the website, email, SMS, or the loyalty program.  Changes will apply as stated in the applicable notice.  Any points or rewards affected by a program change will be handled in accordance with the terms communicated at that time and applicable law.

Providing a telephone number for loyalty membership does not, by itself, enroll you in promotional SMS messages.

Email and SMS Marketing

If you choose to subscribe, Maison A may send promotional emails or text messages containing new products, offers, discounts, and loyalty updates.

Promotional SMS messages are administered through Material Retail.  Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or loyalty-program participation. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

You may unsubscribe from emails through the Unsubscribe link in any promotional email.

You may stop promotional text messages at any time by replying STOP or emailing info@maisona.net. For SMS assistance, reply HELP.

Maison A does not sell or share telephone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent records with third parties for their own marketing.  We may provide this information to Material Retail, telecommunications carriers, and other service providers as necessary to operate our messaging program.

Other Service Providers

We may also provide information to companies that help us operate our business, including:

• Payment processors;
• Dropshipping suppliers and product vendors;
• Warehouses, fulfillment providers, and shipping carriers;
• Website, analytics, security, advertising, and fraud-prevention providers;
• Professional advisors; and
• Government agencies or other parties when required by law.

Dropshipping and fulfillment partners receive the customer and order information reasonably necessary to prepare and deliver purchases.

We may also disclose information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of the business.

Cookies and Advertising

Maison A, Shopify, and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, understand website activity, measure marketing, and provide relevant advertising.

Maison A does not sell personal information for money.  However, certain advertising or analytics activities may be considered “selling,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some state privacy laws.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to process orders, administer accounts and loyalty benefits, maintain consent records, provide customer service, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We and our service providers use reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information.  However, no website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children’s Privacy

Maison A’s website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.  Although we sell children’s products, purchases must be made by an adult.
